We are joing the VW/Audi convoy on a day trip to Mersing and will be taking the 2nd link and meet at 6am at Petronas....which means that we have to wake up at 4.30am and set off to Tuas 2nd Link at 5am.
NSH - See how steady our driver is with the speed we are travelling at....170km/h!!! OMG!

Our little princess is the most fortunate... she slept almost throughout the whole journey to and fro, drink and eat as she wishes :->

Scenary is also very nice where it overlooks the Johor Straits, we can see Singapore's coastline from the restaurant. There are also a few chinese seafood restaurants next to the nasi lemak makan place...we probably will try those out next time round.

We had our breakfast at Yong Peng, there's this popular restaurant selling fishball noodle... a pity I didn't take any pics at the makan place. Still groggy from waking up so early in the morning.
The whole convoy queuing up and rearing to qiong.....there are 7 cars in front of us and about 6-7 cars behind us, so quite an impressive convoy.
One of the stopover along the trail....
We reached Mersing at about 11+am and stopped for a drink first before proceeding to lunch.
This is the pub that we stopped at...the location is quite strategic with Ferry operators selling tickets to Tioman nearby, so very popular with tourists as well.
Here are some pics taken along the trail on our way back to JB.
I must say that I didn't expect that B-route meant that it will be a drive with sharp bends and curves at high speed.... 感觉就像在坐飞霄云车...
Woodlands Convoy - Back to JB

After the car wash, John recommended to everyone this nasi lemak makan place and since it was alr dinner time, we decided to join the group and try out this place. The nasi lemak, satay and seafood was really tasty and cheap.... no regrets :)
